I am a results focused product visionary with a solid technical management base combined with a strong business acumen. My storied technology career covers executive management positions such as Chief Product Officer, Vice President of Worldwide Engineering, defacto Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. I have also blended senior level operations experience into my technology leadership capabilities by holding roles such as President, Board Member, COO (by responsibility), Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Business Development.
I posses a full suite of tools necessary to effectively run a product development organization to success from mature situations, fixing distressed organizations to venture-backed startup environments.
My technology leadership capabilities span a wealth of technology expertise from full-stack software development, UI/UX product development, application solutions both in a data-center and SaaS environment, hardware enterprise solutions, consumer electronic solutions and graphics/video capabilities all in an Agile and/or Waterfall process depending on the environment.
I have managed teams from 3 to over 150 internationally and have significant experience in technology management of software development teams, UI/UX teams, application developers, embedded solutions development, silicon development, product management, project management, technical publications, QA and L3 customer support teams. I am extremely strong in effective management of networking and storage enterprise IT solutions.
My last role as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer of FalconStor Software allowed me to focus on product management and roadmap solutions to provide relevant software defined storage for the IT enterprise. By following my lead of product management roadmap initiatives with their successful execution, my leading of product development yielded multiple storage product of the year awards in 2015 and 2016.
